Macro for Online Contests

My friends know I'm unexplainably geeky - a fact of which I'm quite proud. My background and education have almost nothing to do with computers or programming but I LOVE to learn new things, solve a puzzle, and explore new technology. I'm sure even semi-techies would think my skills pretty inadequate and I'd agree - but I have figured out how to do some pretty interesting things that might be handy to other techie-wannabes.This would explain why, when a friend of mine said his daughter needed help getting noticed in an online singing contest, I so willingly volunteered.(At some point in my life I should probably stop to think about how these types of commitments tend to eat up all my free time and become a drain on my family more than anything else - thank goodness they're patient and claim to love me anyway!)I spent the next six months getting my friend's daughter a massive amount of votes for this competition. I researched macro writing and various macro software and found some great tools that I still use today. Now - before you scroll to the bottom of this and call me a 'cheater' in the comments section, please understand votes were not a determining factor in winning the competition. I carefully read the rules of the site before launching my macro. The site itself said you could vote as many times as you wanted and other contestants were obviously running their own macros. My friend's daughter's votes grew so significantly that she gained much needed attention. Her profile and videos were on main pages of the site earning her more comments and ratings from the site's community. In the end, she was selected by the judges as the top finalist. The fact that she's darn talented didn't hurt one bit either. (Really....she's amazing!!)
