Standard Banner Sizes

I have made this lens for my own reference when I need to make new banners for my stores. When I first started out, I just make any banners that I like to suit my website. Soon I realized that my weird banner sizes turn affiliates off. They do not want to exchange links with me either. They do not want to put my weird banners on their websites or stores because my banners will ruin their website layout. The most they will do is 'text link' my site. Now I have started to built my own affiliate site at Elmo Marketplace and I need lots of banners from the merchants. I find it frustrating when I cannot find the banners I want for my side bar or the main page. I wanted to feature their banners on my merchants page and I cannot believe that I cannot even find a basic 468 x 60 banners. Some merchants even provide some really weird sizes and I do not think that anyone will want to use them.In fact, you should provide your affiliates plenty of choices to choose from. I will recommended that store owner should make as much banners as possible, for each sections and design of your store. Provide animated banners and standard one as well.
