Meet my Sweet Goldendoodle  

My husband begged me to agree we get a dog for the family. Yup, my husband. Not the kids. He picked this somewhat ungainly, long-haired, floppy puppy. He was sweet and charming, although a bit unusual - the dog....not my husband....although, come to think of it my husband can be sweet and charming and a bit unusual, too.'What kind of dog is this?', we asked the breeder. 'A Goldendoodle', she said.I giggled. Just say Goldendoodle out loud and you can't help yourself. I'd never heard of the them before. She went on to explain that a Goldendoodle is a new 'designer breed'. A combination of Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle. Well, I thought to myself, I have a designer handbag - might as well get the matching dog.We've had Apollo for 5 months now and besides being the smartest dog I've ever lived with, he's just downright hysterical.
