The Eurovision Song Contest 2008 on Squidoo  

Taking part as an independent country for the first time in 2007, Serbia won the Eurovision Song Contest with Marija Serifovic, who performed the ballad Molitva.
Her victory brings the 2008 Contest to Belgrade, where the new format of the Eurovision Song Contest premieres, including two semi finals on 20th and 22nd May 2008 and the grand final on 24th May 2008.
