Fairies

Red, spotted mushrooms, trees with nooks, fireflies, a dark green forest, these are just a few things that come to mind when thinking of fairies. We often picture them to be extremely tiny, winged, and beautiful. Often, Shakespeare's fairies come to mind with names like mustard seed and Oberon. Fairies have done quite well in capturing our imaginations through literature, plays, and films.Fairies go by many names, including pixies, sprites, faeries, and many others. From origins to individuals, here is a chance to get to know fairies. This was done by Edward Hughes in 1908. I have a print and love it wholly.
