Luis Pereira is Stumpedia's founding CEO.  He is currently responsible for Stumpedia's day-to-day operations.

Luis was born to the proverbial hard working (Portuguese) immigrant parents in Newark, NJ. His experience with technology started at the age of 10. His first computer, like so many of his generation, was the beloved and irrepressible Commodore 64. But he wasn't just tinkering on his C-64 in his free time. Luis is no stranger to Edison's theory of 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.

After graduating high school, Luis' interest in computers and technology lead him to enroll at DeVry Technical Institute where, in 1995, he graduated with a degree in Computer Information Systems. Luis has worked as an IT Consultant for the past 10 years. His entrepreneurial streak has spawned a successful troubleshooting consulting firm where he worked as Regional Director of Computer Troubleshooters New Jersey, and most recently as an partner/operator of a Dunkin Donuts franchise.
